As part of the series I did with Tripp Fuller about the book, I interviewed some leading thinkers across tech, governance, and philosophy about how they saw AI, and the issues I talk about in God-Like.
It was a huge delight and honour to interview Professor John Caputo. He remains one of the sharpest thinkers on theology, technology and philosophy and it was wonderful to be able to bounce the ideas in the book around with him.
We also talk about his wonderful Spectres of God, and how the work of Derrida – especially around the ‘spectral’ dimension of technology – is significant in this age of technological transformation.
Enjoy!
