Just this week Carl Frey gave a presentation on ‘AI and the Future of Work – Lessons from History’ at a conference organised by Georgetown McDonough School of Business’ Center for Business and Public Policy.
Frey is at the Oxford Internet Institute and really is a world-leading thinker on AI impacts, and this lecture is a great overview of where we’re at, and where we’ve come from.
In God-Like: A 500-Year History of AI I look at where in the human heart this extraordinary technology has come from. What this presentation does brilliantly is focus this on the economic dimensions of that history. Really well worth a watch!
